The HeartGold & SoulSilver Series (2010–2011) tied in with the Johto remakes and packed a lot into just five expansions. Its signature cards were Pokémon Prime — sleek, powerful evolutions — and the two-piece Pokémon LEGEND cards, which only worked when you assembled both halves.
Running through 2010 and into 2011, the block paired with Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver on the Nintendo DS and remains a favourite of collectors for its clean design and scarce top-tier cards.
