Synopsis
Alexa leads the group on a hunt for a pirate captain’s treasure on a deserted island, which turns out to be guarded by the pirate’s former Pokémon. A whirlpool sweeps their boat through a maze-like passage to a beached pirate ship, where symbols matching Alexa’s coded map open a hidden door.
Honchkrow watch them, Mismagius and a Nidoking attack, and three Shiftry chase them, while the group befriends three Eevee rescued along the way. Alexa realises the island’s Pokémon match the pirate’s crew, and at the summit they battle a Ninetales, the pirate’s evolved Vulpix, until Charizard defeats it.
Axew and the Eevee find a star-shaped trench; Oshawott’s Hydro Pump fills it and opens a staircase to a chest of Evolution Stones, and the three Eevee touch the Thunder, Fire and Water Stones to become Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon. Realising the Pokémon were only protecting their home, Alexa deletes her footage and everyone agrees to keep the island secret, after Pikachu blasts Team Rocket off again.
