Synopsis
Ash defeats Korrina and her Mega Lucario to win the Rumble Badge, his third in Kalos. Gurkinn referees a three-on-three battle in which only Ash may substitute, and Hawlucha struggles against Mienfoo using Tierno’s rhythmic style until Ash remembers Serena saying he has a style of his own and returns to it, and Hawlucha wins with Karate Chop and Flying Press after Mienfoo’s High Jump Kick misses.
Fletchinder takes Machoke’s Brick Break and Low Sweep and knocks it out with a second Flame Charge just as it readies Focus Blast. Meanwhile Team Rocket sneak towards the Gym, but Froakie, Chespin and Fennekin quietly blast them away without Ash noticing. Korrina then Mega Evolves Lucario, which defeats Fletchinder with Power-Up Punch and Hawlucha with Bone Rush and Aura Sphere.
Pikachu lands Quick Attack, recovers from a deflected Electro Ball with a midair Thunderbolt, breaks free of Metal Sound and parries Aura Sphere with Iron Tail, and a final Thunderbolt knocks Lucario out and returns it to normal. Korrina presents the Rumble Badge, Gurkinn directs Ash to Coumarine City for his next Gym, and Ash and Korrina, and Pikachu and Lucario, bump fists.
