Synopsis
An apprentice groomer named Jessica finally earns her Furfrou’s trust after the group help her expose Team Rocket’s fake grooming salon. In a stylish town Serena and Bonnie hope to meet the famous groomer Sherman when Jessica’s untrimmed Furfrou knocks Bonnie over; Jessica explains it won’t let her groom it, and takes the group to Sherman’s salon, where she shows them diets, shampoos and fancy Furfrou trims.
In town, “Jessally” and her assistants lure the group into a salon and take Serena’s Fennekin for grooming. Officer Jenny shows them a wanted poster of con artists who keep their customers’ Pokémon, and back at the empty shop Jessica’s Furfrou sniffs out Team Rocket with a bag of stolen Poké Balls.
Inkay confuses Jenny’s Manectric and inks Pikachu’s eyes, but Pikachu fights on, dodging so that Wobbuffet’s reflected Thunderbolt strikes Inkay. Jessie traps Furfrou in an electrified cage; Jessica breaks it open with a stick, and Furfrou’s Charge Beam defeats Team Rocket. Jessica finally trims Furfrou into a Heart Trim, and Serena, who asks her to groom Fennekin someday, murmurs about finding something she loves to do.
