Synopsis
Ash returns to Pallet Town, reunites with all his Pokémon at Professor Oak’s lab, and sets off with Alexa for the Kalos region. Delia and Mimey welcome him home, and at the lab Alexa interviews Oak while Bulbasaur and the Tauros herd greet Ash, and Helioptile and Noivern give the professor a shock and a Boomburst.
Bulbasaur’s Solar Beam summons Ash’s Unova Pokémon, who join Charizard, Oshawott, Pignite, Snivy and Scraggy as Ash thanks them and reaffirms his dream, and Alexa’s description of the Kalos League convinces him to go there. When Team Rocket trap the field with Will-O-Wisp, all of Ash’s Pokémon combine their attacks and blast them away. At headquarters, Jessie and James hand their Unova Pokémon to Giovanni, and Wobbuffet returns to them.
At dinner, Alexa reveals that her younger sister is a Gym Leader in Kalos, and Delia gives Ash new clothes she has made. Leaving all his Pokémon except Pikachu at the lab, Ash flies to Kalos with Alexa, with Team Rocket following, while Delia places a framed photo of Ash and his Pokémon on the mantel.
