Synopsis
In this Japan-only clip show, Ash, Dawn and Brock look back on their Sinnoh journey so far while travelling towards Snowpoint City. The episode is divided into topic sections, opening with an explanation of what Pokémon are and how they evolve, followed by Trainers, Ash’s journey and Pokémon, his Gym battles and Badges, and his rivalry with Paul.
Further segments cover Breeders and Stylists, and Dawn’s path as a Coordinator: her dream of becoming a Top Coordinator like her mother Johanna, her Ribbons, Contest Battles, her Pokémon and her rival Zoey. A final section recaps Team Galactic and the Sinnoh legend of time and space, with flashbacks to many of the season’s Gym Leaders, rivals and Legendary Pokémon.
The episode ends with previews of upcoming events: Dawn at the Sandalstraw Contest, Ash’s battle at the Snowpoint Gym with Candice, Brandon’s return and Regigigas. Aired in a one-hour slot with DP119, it was the last episode broadcast in Japan in 4:3, and it was never dubbed or shown outside Japan.
