Go, Go Gogoat! is the 41st episode of Pokémon: BW Adventures in Unova and Beyond, the sixteenth season of the Pokémon anime, and the 791st episode of the English dub overall (Japanese episode 796, Bulbapedia code BW138). It first aired in Japan on 22 August 2013 and in the United States on 9 November 2013. It falls within the season’s Alexa and the road to Kalos stretch (EP134–EP140).
Synopsis
Alexa’s Gogoat carries off a boy named Tony, and the group follows them up a mountain to the observatory where Tony hopes to surprise his father on his birthday. Gogoat can sense feelings through its horns, so when Tony touches them while it is grazing, it decides to take him where his mother will not let him go.
Officer Jenny and Tony’s mother raise the alarm, and the group splits up at a fork in the mountain path. Climbing with Ash, Alexa explains that she met Gogoat when it lifted her back up a cliff after she climbed down to retrieve her dropped camera, and that they have travelled together ever since.
Ash and Alexa find Tony resting by a lake, and Gogoat refuses to carry him any farther without permission, so everyone escorts him onward. They dodge a Foongus’s Poison Powder and fell a tree with Iron Tail and Vine Whip to cross a broken bridge. At the observatory, Tony’s father hugs and scolds him, gratefully accepts his drawing of the Braviary constellation, and everyone admires it in the night sky together.
