Synopsis
Ash and N dig their way out of the White Ruins, but N must surrender the Light Stone to Team Plasma to free Pikachu from Colress’s control, and Ghetsis begins the ritual to awaken Reshiram. Iris, Cilan and Cedric are captured and bound, while underground Oshawott, Krookodile, Charizard, Pignite, Snivy and Pikachu combine their moves to tunnel out, with N kneeling to help.
Barret’s controlled Liepard and Golurk attack, and Ash’s team strikes back with combined Flamethrowers, Dig, Hydro Pump and Leaf Storm until Colress aims his device at them. Ash recalls everyone except Pikachu, who hates his Poké Ball; Pikachu falls under control and shocks his friends, and Ash, refusing to give up on him, is knocked unconscious by repeated Thunderbolts.
Desperate, N offers Team Plasma the Light Stone and himself if Colress frees Pikachu, and Aldith accepts. Released, Pikachu collapses in shame at what he has done. Ghetsis arrives by helicopter, takes the stone and starts the ceremony, planning to control Reshiram with Colress’s machine, as Ash wakes and runs with Pikachu to stop him.
