On their way to Blackthorn City, Ash and company get involved in a war between vileplumes and bellossoms, caused by territorial disputes. Team Rocket wants to collect some of each of them, but the grass pokémon all join forces to keep that from happening. The local researcher, Ash, Misty, and Brock finally give up trying to prevent and break up the fights. They allow the bellossoms and vileplumes to battle until they are all injured, and point out that neither side won. Finally realizing that there is no point to the battle and that they can live in harmony with each other, they end the territorial dispute and live together sharing the entire field.

Major Events
