Synopsis

With Tera Training over, the trio rejoin the Rising Volt Tacklers aboard the repaired Brave Olivine, discover three stowaway Tatsugiri, test themselves against Lucius’s Arboliva, Moltres and Lapras, and fly to Kitakami. Outside Naranja Academy, Raifort tells them about Kitakami and suggests that they meet Briar, a researcher who studies Terapagos and, in the dub, a teacher at Blueberry Academy. Then the repaired airship arrives to collect them. The next morning they tour the ship, which looks unchanged from outside: on the bridge Friede forbids them to press a big red emergency button, and Roy, resisting temptation, strikes a superhero transformation pose; Orla shows off her engine-room upgrades and Mollie her improved infirmary. In the restyled kitchen Roy and Crocalor try to eat what looks like three pieces of sushi, which attack them and turn out to be three Tatsugiri. Murdock says the situation is complicated, but before he can explain, the Tatsugiri escape and the children chase them all over the ship, finally collapsing on the wing deck.

Friede arrives with a briefcase holding Lucius’s belt and returns it to Liko’s care; Terapagos reacts excitedly to the Ancient Poké Balls, and Arboliva, Galarian Moltres and Lapras emerge as if to challenge the children. Intimidated at first, the three Trainers are won over by their partners’ enthusiasm, and the ship stops at a small rocky island: Liko and Floragato face Arboliva on the wing deck, Roy and Crocalor take on Moltres on the island, and Dot and Quaxwell meet Lapras at the shoreline. Floragato dodges Arboliva’s oil blasts and matches its Magical Leaf, Crocalor counters Moltres’s Fiery Wrath with Stomping Tantrum and answers Air Slash with Flamethrower, and Quaxwell dodges Ice Beams with graceful steps. Using the cloud of leaves, Floragato wraps a vine around Arboliva’s arm and lands a super-effective Acrobatics, triggering its Seed Sower Ability; Crocalor, blown upward by Hurricane, turns it into an advantage with a super-effective Disarming Voice from above; and Quaxwell skates across Lapras’s ice for a super-effective Low Kick.

The three Trainers Terastallize their partners, but Floragato’s Magical Leaf, Crocalor’s Flame Charge and Quaxwell’s Liquidation barely trouble Lucius’s Pokémon, a sign of how strong they are. Before the battle can escalate, Terapagos calls out and the heroes return to their Ancient Poké Balls. As the ship sails on, the children thank the heroes and their own partners, and Friede praises them for evolving alongside their Pokémon. He announces that they will go to Kitakami to learn more about Terapagos and search for the remaining Six Heroes, and Terapagos gazes silently towards their destination as if sensing something. At Explorers headquarters, Zirc and Onia tell Amethio that, although he has been dismissed from every mission, they will stay by his side as comrades, and he gratefully accepts. The upgraded Brave Olivine reaches Kitakami in a single flight, where a photographer named Perrin, looking for Pokémon to shoot, is startled when a dark shadow, Lucius’s Kleavor, streaks past her lens.
