Pokemon Yellow (Game Boy) Box Art & Covers

by

The complete box art, cartridge and manual scans for Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition on the Game Boy — in high resolution, across as many regional releases as we can gather.

Released in Japan on 12 September 1998 and across the West through 1999–2000, Yellow was an enhanced take on Red & Blue built around the animated series: your journey begins with a Pikachu that follows you across the overworld, and the game’s wild encounters and gift Pokémon echo Ash’s team. Its cover star, naturally, is Pikachu.
