Synopsis
Ash decides to return to Kanto by cruise ship through the Decolore Islands with Iris and Cilan, but first the group must escape Team Rocket’s fake ship. At Professor Juniper’s lab, Iris announces she will come along to learn about other regions’ Dragon-types and Cilan to keep training as a Connoisseur, while Juniper arranges to send Ash’s Unova Pokémon to Professor Oak; meanwhile Giovanni personally praises Team Rocket for helping stop Team Plasma.
A disguised James swaps their tickets for fakes, and a disguised Jessie leads the trio onto a shabby old ship, takes their Pokémon to a “playroom” and locks them in a cabin. Oshawott, whose Poké Ball was dropped, overhears the plan to strand them at sea and, while fighting back, accidentally unlocks the doors with Razor Shell.
Reunited with their Pokémon, the group battles Team Rocket on board, but Excadrill’s Dig holes the hull and the ship floods until an explosion blasts the villains off. Ash recovers the real tickets, and they race onto the departing Decolore Queen, where the cruise guide Porter welcomes them aboard.
